us as we listen to the tapes of “Anam Cara: Wisdom
from the Celtic World” by John O’Donohue, over homemade vegetarian soup and warm bread in front of a warm fire
in the hearth. These are the tapes which inspired
my forming Anam Cara Center, and which continually help me return to the hearth of my deepest belonging. (In John’s
beautiful phrasing) I am delighted to share them!
We first offered this gathering in January of 2004, and we had a delightful time sharing a nourishing meal, insights, stories
from our lives and soul companionship. O’Donohue’s lovely Irish brogue
brought an authentic music to our Hearth place of Celtic Hospitality, and a fresh perspective on what it means
to be a spiritual being in our times. There is something powerfully bonding about
listening to a wise teacher together -- we now have a common ground of knowledge
and whole new way to understand our relationship to one another and the world.
We hope you will join us, and share in that bonding.

The cost of this program will be $75 for the series, prepaid,
which is a bargain, even if you can’t make all sessions! The cost includes supper. If you would like to pay as
you go it is $15 per session, however...

Our own Anam Cara Listening Circle Soup Recipe Book is available for $7.00. It includes reflections on
