Dear Soul Friends,
We enter a new year filled with Hope
and Promise, and I encourage you to consider how Spirit is prompting you to join together in these transformative
times to participate in the great turning that is so necessary for our survival.
Yesterday the North Fork was blanketed with 10 inches of powdery
snow, and I spent today wandering around in our Winter Wonderland totally intoxicated with life - So, I send you greetings
from the Red-Winged Blackbirds who have just migrated in - masters they are of group mind in their ballet-like movement -
they were inspiration to me for our group process - in such a tiny moment of shared awareness the whole flock shifts
course and alights on a new tree together. May we find that common purpose that brings us into a whole new path
as a community, as a nation and as a planet.
I have recently joined up with other like-minded community activists
in a wonderful gathering sponsored by Organizing for America - the grass-roots community organizing initiative created by
our new President. This group meets the 4th Saturday of each month - currently at 2 pm at the First Universalist Church
of Southold. It has been such a treat to be surrounded by folks brainstorming and envisioning ways to inspire and help
one another bring our dreams into reality. Come and join us!
I will be offering a few programs at my home this Spring, please
continue to check this website for updates, or send me your e-mail and I will be sure you get our announcements.
If you are interested in making a workshop happen - just
give me a call or send an e-mail and we'll gather a group to do it. Please check my list of all the Programs offered and review my suggestions on how to go about organizing one. I
would especially like to offer the Voluntary Simplicity and Global Warming Discussion Courses to a larger audience and am
looking for a larger meeting space for this.
As always, I am also available
for Spiritual Counseling, Pastoral Care and Rites of Passage, so don't hesitate to call.
